Why the nursing shortage and how nursing instructors can help.

America is facing a nursing shortage. Budget constraints and an aging faculty are contributing to faculty shortages at nursing schools and in clinical settings. In fact, almost 80,000 qualified nursing applicants are turned away each year because nursing schools do not have enough instructors to teach them.*

As a graduate of this program, you can go on to teach bachelor’s level nursing classes or serve as a clinical leader overseeing your patients’ healthcare team. It’s a rewarding career where you will inspire future nurses, collaborate with healthcare professionals and have access to the latest research in clinical care.

Nurse educators and clinical leaders with a MSN/Ed earn, on average, $65,940.+ Many nurse educators earn extra pay by caring for patients, consulting, or through teaching workshops and professional presentations.
